The festival has been amazing! So much talent! I have met some wonderful people and made some lasting friendships. It is different than I expected. The participants are more like a family than in competition with each other. It is relaxed. After a full day of watching premier films of all kinds, the groups would relax at the VIP parties and share their thoughts. When people asked me what my screenplay was about, I would tell them it was a faith based film. I got a variety of reactions. A few were uncomfortable and nicely went on their way. One producer, when I said faith based, they got excited and starting giving me all kinds of advice. It was obvious the passion she had. Two other producers were intrigued by the idea of faith based and ask me to send my script.
God is working, I can see it. I’m just not exactly sure what He is doing. lol.
I had made some postcards for the display table. It mentioned my script “Journey of Innocence Lost”, book “Seasons Once Upon My Innocence” and my photo. The “About me” part, I talked about some of the things I had been through. I had at least 3 people come to me and share something personal they are going through. I had great talks giving encouragement, hope and prayer to others.
I may not be here to win the competition. God had something special in mind when he sent me here. His light is shining brighter than any hollywood star.
Keep me in your prayers as I go through the last two days.
I will keep you updated!
Have a Blessed weekend!
